Hopefully you will have seen the news that we have been accredited as a Talent Centre by England Hockey:
We are one of only 33 clubs nationally to be recognised, collaborating with England Hockey and the other clubs that started the process a year ago.
A Talent Centre club is a club that provides high quality provision for players at early talent development level (Talent Foundations). This provision will be embedded within the club’s junior programme. Talent Centre accreditation recognises the quality of a club’s talent development environment and provision, not individual players.
The framework provides a common language and a clear understanding for all stakeholders as we all work together to deliver a phenomenal ‘talent pipeline’ of players through exceptional talent development experiences and a talent identification and development system which attracts and excites young people irrespective of their background.
