PROGRESS UPDATE

The new floor process started yesterday 26^th July it will take a few days to complete. The remaining old carpet is being cleaned on Sunday 1^st august and will take a couple of days to dry.

The furniture kindly donated by the Anvil is being collected and will be on site Thursday 28^th July. On Tuesday 3^rd August we will be able to position it and take a view as to any additions required.  Please come and see to have some input.

The kitchen, rear lobby, bar, store and WC’s have been completely redecorated and look fantastic.

We have had 56 volunteers helping at different times it has been a wonderful commitment, but we still need help in completeing the renovations.  Please click on the read more link below for further information.

The Brewery are fitting the bar equipment early August and Mike Nicholls who has been an immense help in this area is preparing an e-mail to get the members input as far as to what has been offered so far and any possible additions, please bear in mind, we are starting out cautiously.

Saturday 31^st July

Move furniture onto dance floor and kitchen to allow carpet cleaning.

Overlay the existing conservatory floor with chipboard. 3 Men 4 Hours work.

Sunday 1^st August

Lay new carpet tiles in conservatory. 4 Hours work. Fit replacement lights in Conservatory. Replace light fittings as needed in main room. 10 Hours.

Work Parties

During week of 2^nd we will be back to Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Please continue to support, there is still much to do and not everything needs building skills!  If you intend to come up and help, please let me know so I can be organised and construct a workplan.
